Released as the third album from New York band Geese, Getting Killed captures the group at their most immediate and unrestrained. Recorded in just ten days with producer Kenneth Blume, the sessions leave little space for polish, and that urgency runs through the entire record.

Across the album, Geese move between towering riffs and unexpected textures, from choir samples to hissing drum machines beneath jagged guitars. The result shifts between tension and release, balancing moments of clarity with bursts of raw intensity.

Restless and unpredictable, Getting Killed sees the band pushing against their own influences while still drawing from the energy of classic rock. It’s direct, inventive and difficult to fix in one place — a record that feels alive from start to finish.
